Mass Save HEAT Loans

Offered in partnership with Mass Save®, this program provides homeowners the opportunity to make energy-efficient home improvements. Through Southcoast FCU, eligible members can obtain a 0% APR HEAT Loan to assist with the installation of qualified energy-efficient improvements.

Getting started is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

1. Contact the Mass Save Program at 1-866-527-SAVE or visit the Mass Save website to determine your project eligibility and whether a Home Energy Assessment is needed for your project.

2. Work with your Mass Save HEAT Loan Administrator to obtain the required HEAT Loan documentation, including your Authorization Form and eligible project details.

3. Contact Southcoast FCU directly to begin the loan application process and start saving with energy-efficient upgrades!

Current eligible improvements may include:
• Weatherization
• Pre-weatherization barriers
• ENERGY STAR® certified replacement windows*
• Residential batteries enrolled in ConnectedSolutions
• Heat pump projects
• Heat pump water heaters

*Must be completed in conjunction with weatherization recommendations.

Note: The maximum loan amount is up to $25,000 over the lifetime of a customer’s energy efficiency upgrades. Eligible energy efficiency measures can be financed until the maximum loan amount is reached.
